The Nicolet Union High School District is a four year public high school with a multicultural student population of approximately 1100 students. SUMMARY
Nicolet Union High School seeks a highly qualified, collaborative, and energetic Business Education teacher. The ideal candidate has a Business Education license (1250). This is a full time, renewing position that will join two other Business Education teachers. Courses for this position for the 2026-27 school year include: Financial Literacy, Intro to Business, Careers and Employability Skills, and Entrepreneurship. A teacher is responsible for preparing lesson plans, assessments, analyzing evidence of student learning and improving teaching and learning based on student outcomes. Classroom instruction must be engaging and focus on educating all students. In order to achieve this, the teacher''s responsibilities include assigning homework, grading assessments, documenting student progress, and communicating with parents/guardians. Teachers must possess a skill set to provide instruction in a variety of courses within their subject area. Teachers will operate collaboratively within professional learning communities to help complete these items. Teachers will work cooperatively with the administrative staff to deliver a comprehensive educational program which meets the District's curricular guidelines and state standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teachers will provide general supervision in the hallways and locker rooms before and after classes, before the school day begins, after the school day ends and during emergency drills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of bachelor's degree required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Ability to effectively present information to top management and the School Board.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics in regards to data analysis. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations and annual budgets.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A Business Education license (1250) is required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong background in specified curricular area. Ability and willingness to supervise students. Ability to engage and instruct students in learning activities.

TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT

EVALUATION
The Teacher will be evaluated, at least in part, against the employee job description annually, more as needed, by the Principal or designee.
