Job Description:

Job Title: Business Execution Consultant

Location: Chandler, AZ - Hybrid

Contract Length: 6 months

Pay Rate: $61/hr - $65/hr

Role Overview

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Business Execution. This role supports the Workday Absence Product Team and serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will partner with product owners, business leaders, and technology teams to gather requirements, support configuration, coordinate testing, and ensure the successful delivery of Workday Absence enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business and product stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.
  • Support Workday Absence configuration and enhancement efforts.
  • Participate in solution design discussions and recommend process improvements.
  • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
  • Validate functionality and ensure solutions meet business requirements before release.
  • Work with product teams to support feature delivery and production readiness.
  • Assist with defect management, issue resolution, and testing validation.
  • Support release planning and implementation activities.
  • Document business processes, requirements, testing results, and operational procedures.
  • Engage with executive and senior-level stakeholders to communicate progress, risks, and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Workday Absence in an analyst or lead capacity.
  • Experience with requirements gathering, solution configuration, and UAT/testing support.
  • Understanding of the Workday Business Process Framework.
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with additional Workday modules (Payroll, Benefits, Core HCM, etc.).
  • Experience supporting or partnering on Workday integrations.
  • Workday Certification(s).
