Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure excellent customer service and retention.
- Conduct risk assessments for potential clients to tailor insurance solutions that meet their unique needs.
- Provide expert advice and support to clients regarding coverage options and industry trends.
- Stay updated on market changes and emerging insurance products to better serve clients.
- Collaborate with the district manager to create and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to continually enhance your product knowledge and sales skills.
Requirements
- Proven sales experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business insurance products and markets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve personal and team goals.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using technology and software related to insurance sales and management.

A letter from a couple in 2002 wrote that their Farmers agent and Claims Adjuster “were exceptional in their handling of our grief, what we needed to do, and helpful in many other ways.” That same year, when Hurricane Rita struck Beaumont, Texas, Farmers sent 300 agents to assess damages while policy holders were evacuated. Farmers also donated $100,000 for the city’s emergency operations center and two megawatt generators that restored power to Beaumont. Whatever year or decade a disaster occurs, you can count on us to be there for you.
