Business Intelligence Administrator

Requirements

• 4 or more years of experience in Business Intelligence administration and self-hosted Looker platforms.

• Proficiency in AWS infrastructure management including EC2 instance modernizations and deployments.

• Experience in advanced SQL programming and executing complex Teradata to Snowflake database migrations.

• Experience with LookML workflow management, GitHub version control, and continuous deployment processes.

• Experience in administering enterprise identity access controls, user provisioning, and Azure AD integrations.

• Experience with configuring Looker APIs, Redis caching, and supporting advanced AI analytics use cases.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to mentor technical staff and drive knowledge transfer.

Responsibilities

• Architect and administer complex self-hosted enterprise Looker environments across multiple AWS EC2 instances.

• Execute seamless Looker version upgrades, system patching, and comprehensive EC2 infrastructure modernizations.

• Direct the technical integration and connection stability for ongoing Teradata to Snowflake cloud data migrations.

• Manage advanced LookML development workflows and orchestrate continuous code deployments utilizing GitHub.

• Troubleshoot critical platform performance bottlenecks, complex data modeling anomalies, and user access incidents.

• Automate user provisioning, enforce strict governance controls, and evaluate Redis caching performance enhancements.

• Mentor internal technical teams on Looker best practices and author detailed operational runbook documentation.
