Position Summary: This position supports the data and analytical operations of the Lindner Center of Hope (LCOH) and Lindner Center of Hope Professional Associates (LCOHPA) by preparing various analysis and reports for management across functions and service lines Major Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare monthly financial reports and analyses, providing financial insight to management. Prepare volume analysis, productivity analysis, contribution margin analysis, payor mix, FTE reporting, presentations for the Board of Directors, etc.
- Support the budget team and CFAO in the annual budgeting process to ensure the successful completion of the operating budget.
- Develop and maintain analytic tools and products for scheduled and ad hoc reporting of LCOH and LCOHPA data, including KPIs, service line reporting, reporting for support of financial (and budget) needs.
- Obtain initial Epic accreditations (Cogito Fundamentals and Caboodle Data Model or similar) within 90 days as well as any additional required accreditations.
- Have a working knowledge of data tools, including but not limited to Microsoft productivity and reporting tools (SQL, Power BI, advanced Excel) and other third-party financial and data reporting platforms.
- Have a working knowledge of healthcare business activities and related metadata for key areas of reporting (financial, basic clinical, outcomes, research, etc.). Develop the ability to understand relationships within the data and understand how to most efficiently report the data.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
- Support the completion of ad-hoc inquiries, issues, and projects as they arise, including meeting with people to gather requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of governmental reporting requirements, accreditation reporting needs, and census surveys.
- Train end users on reporting tools.
- Ensure reporting activity complies with all relevant privacy and confidentiality requirements, including HIPAA.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining professional networks; participating in professional organizations
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications: - Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting/Finance, Business Analytics or related field.
- 0-3 years of related work experience; previous analytics or healthcare experience preferred
- Previous data analytics experience in a health care environment preferred.
- Epic Certification preferred. Candidates without current Epic Certification must be willing and able to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Strong proficiency using macros, charts, formatting and formulas (high level of proficiency with Excel).
- Proficient skills utilizing analytics and data visualization tools required
- Excellent organization skills and be able to prioritize multiple activities and objectives in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and quality.
- Strong attention to detail and strong analytical ability required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with LCOH clinicians and all levels of management.

Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position are consistent with those performed in a normal office environment, including occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling, and sufficient manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment and ability to use to use a computer. All candidates extended conditional offer of employment will be subject to a WebCheck (BCI & FBI Fingerprinting). Fingerprints will be submitted to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The reports from these agencies will include criminal record information.
