This is a hybrid role requiring regular on-site work at our Nottingham, MD office.
In this role, you will...
Be responsible for building and maintaining data visualizations, scorecards, and dashboards that provide insight into business decisions for central operations functions. Provide support and services in a range of areas, including data visualization, report automation, and dashboard development that provide insight into operations trends, anomalies, and business opportunities. Work with BIS leaders for day-to-day needs while collaborating with the growing Central Operations team and other departments as needed to deliver well-documented BI solutions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Gather and translate business objectives, requirements, and concepts into accurate datasets, reports, dashboards, or presentations that support operational decision-making.
- Extract data from disparate databases and data sources using standard and ad hoc queries, reports, and business intelligence tools.
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to develop dashboards, metrics, reports and insights to identify trends and anomalies to support business decisions.
- Recommend effective reporting, visualization, and data presentation approaches to ensure deliverables are clear, accurate, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to support seamless integration of data and technology solutions, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of available tools and systems.
- Update and maintain databases in support of various periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) reports for various operations processes and services, including department and employee-level insights.
- Maintain, improve, and document reporting datasets, dashboards, report logic, database mappings, and related processes.
- Review reports and findings with business leaders to ensure accuracy, understanding, and alignment with objectives; modify reports as needed.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource supporting data, report, or dashboard questions and issues from stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and investigate potential data issues, troubleshoot root causes, and document business impacts and resolutions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required to maintain consistent quality service and operational support.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS and Business Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, or related field; additional, applicable years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years direct experience in Business Intelligence/MIS Analytics in an operations environment using data analysis to answer business questions and solve problems.
- Experience with data analytic and visualization tools such as SAS, R, Python, Power BI, SQL.
- Proficient in database management, including optimization, data modeling, normalization, and architecture across transactional and warehouse environments.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, well-packaged reports for clear, easy, and effective understanding. Comfortable presenting data to all levels of leadership.
- Capacity to effectively bridge the gap between conceptualization and implementation, interpreting and comprehending instructions, concepts, and ideas and following through with proper execution of desired outcomes in the forms of data sets, reports, or presentations.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision and be able to independently determine tasks to complete on a daily basis. Equally able to collaborate and within a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Desire and ability to learn emerging technologies and methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project administration skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing, with vendors, customers, and all levels of company staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines with both local and remote staff.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in consumer lending/financial services.
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday.
Work hours will depend on the business hours of the time zone serviced.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to move about. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
