Business Intelligence Senior Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights.
  • Gathering and translating business requirements into effective data visualizations that meet stakeholder needs.
  • Developing and optimizing data models, measures, and calculations using DAX for accurate and efficient reporting.
  • Connecting Power BI to multiple data sources, ensuring data accuracy and optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and recommending effective visualization solutions.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving dashboard performance and data issues to maintain reliability.
  • Following BI development standards and best practices for dashboard design and governance.
  • Supporting enhancements and ongoing maintenance of existing Power BI solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data.
  • Experience connecting Power BI to SQL databases, cloud data sources, and enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of Power Query (M) and ETL concepts.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Power Platform.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
  • Prior experience in Agile project environments.
  • Microsoft Power BI certifications.
