Description:

This position provides leadership and operational support to drive the stabilization, standardization, simplification, and sustainability of process operations at Saint Agnes Medical Center. The incumbent utilizes Business Intelligence software to gather, analyze, and interpret business data to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. The role partners with leaders and staff at all levels to build problem-solving capabilities, improve the patient care experience, achieve regulatory goals, and enhance key performance metrics, including patient safety, quality, efficiency, financial stewardship, and employee engagement.

Serving as a subject matter expert in Lean, process simulation, Business Intelligence and change management, the incumbent analyzes business and operational data to deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, optimize processes, and implement data-driven solutions that improve organizational performance. Additionally, this position fosters a culture of continuous learning by training, coaching, and mentoring leaders and teams in Lean, Six Sigma, Rapid Process Improvement, Change Acceleration, and Labor Productivity Management methodologies to drive sustainable results and operational excellence.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Health Administration, or a related field is required. Four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement. Master's Degree is preferred.

  2. Five (5) years of previous experience in driving lean transformational efforts that have resulted in sustained, on-going process improvement and culture change is required. Clinical improvement-related work experience is preferred.

  3. Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred.

  4. Thorough knowledge of operations, financial analysis, and organizational development is required.

  5. Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and leadership skills with the ability to facilitate communications between diverse groups and effectively influence and present advisory consultation are required.

  6. Well-developed project management, process redesign, and analytical skills are required. Prior experience and knowledge of healthcare information technology functionality is preferred.

  7. Proficient in the use of computer software programs such as Word, Excel, Visio, Project, Access, PowerPoint, and iGrafX (process simulation) is required.

  8. Experience with slicer dicer report generation with an EHR system.

  9. Understanding of the unique culture of healthcare for quick assimilation is preferred.

Pay Range ($88,732.80 - $133,078.40)
