Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: 100% Remote (US-Based)

About the Role Paydex Technologies is seeking a 100% remote Business Intelligence Analyst based in the United States. In this data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence role, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, build automated dashboards, and partner with department leads to drive data-informed business decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Looker). 
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple relational databases. 
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, CX, Finance) to define KPIs, requirements, and metric definitions. 
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, operational bottlenecks, and strategic growth opportunities. 
• Validate data accuracy, audit reporting pipelines, and ensure data integrity across company systems.

Requirements 

• 2+ years of experience in a Business Intelligence Analyst, Data Analyst, or analytics-focused role. 
• Strong hands-on proficiency with SQL for querying, data manipulation, and joins. 
• Proven experience building production-ready dashboards in BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar). 
• Solid understanding of relational database structures, data modeling concepts, and spreadsheet analysis (Excel/Google Sheets). 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction or employer sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $114,000 - $170,000 USD per year
