As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you'll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that power data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to build and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards, and curate reliable, well-structured data in Snowflake.

You'll be expected to work independently on BI deliverables while also contributing to team best practices and supporting the growth of the business

About the role

• Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders across multiple domains
• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL in Snowflake to source, transform, and curate data for reporting and analytical use cases
• Develop and maintain data models that support scalable, reusable BI solutions
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, ensuring reports reflect accurate and trustworthy data
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-designed BI solutions
• Participate in and contribute to code reviews with a focus on performance, readability, and maintainability
• Monitor existing dashboards and pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact stakeholders
• Document data definitions, report logic, and processes to support team knowledge sharing
• Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical debt within the BI environment
• Stay current on Tableau and Snowflake capabilities and advocate for adoption of best practices across the team

About you

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
• Proven proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization
• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade dashboards and reports in Tableau
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
• Familiarity with data modeling concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling
• Ability to work independently on deliverables while collaborating effectively across teams
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices
• Exposure to Python or another scripting language for data manipulation or automation
• Current business focused AI use.
