Global Service Resources is looking for a contractor in Los Angeles.

Job Title: Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst 870
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90012 (Remote)
Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire)
Pay rate: $65-$70/hour

Responsibilities:

Support enterprise reporting modernization and report conversions.
Develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
Create paginated and operational reports using Power BI Report Builder.
Write advanced SQL queries for reporting and data analysis.
Analyze, validate, and reconcile data across multiple systems.
Design interactive dashboards with KPIs, drill-throughs, slicers, and filters.
Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and report performance.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience with Power BI, Databricks, advanced SQL, paginated reporting, reporting modernization, cloud analytics, data validation, troubleshooting, UAT, and enterprise reporting.
Experience working with large, complex datasets and data warehouse environments.
Proven ability to gather business requirements and collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience developing executive, operational, and analytical reports.
Background in HR, Payroll, Financial, or operational reporting preferred.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Active certification in Power BI, Databricks, Azure, or related technologies.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or related field.
At least one active industry certification, such as:
- Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate
- Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals
