Attorney Position

Our client is seeking an attorney with at least five years' business law experience focusing on transactional skills to manage and broaden our client service to businesses and businesspeople that go beyond our litigation offerings. Any mix of M&A experience, employment law and/or contract negotiation experience is preferred.

Duties will include advice work; contract structuring, drafting, reviewing and negotiating; and general risk management. Candidates must be able to manage a wide variety of clients and business transactions in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial mindset. The candidate should be ready and excited to grow a practice and provide top-notch client service. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Must also enjoy working in a team environment where self-starters thrive.

We support lawyers in designing their professional path in conjunction with the needs of our firm. Candidates should be NC licensed and practice ready.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective working relationships
  • Thorough knowledge of case law and civil procedure is required
