About the Opportunity
This opportunity is with a respected Atlanta-based litigation boutique focused exclusively on business litigation and dispute resolution. The firm represents businesses and business owners in sophisticated commercial disputes and is committed to delivering strategic, efficient, and results-driven legal representation. Associates work directly with clients and experienced litigators, gaining meaningful responsibility, courtroom exposure, and a clear path for professional growth.
Position Summary
The Business Litigation Associate will manage complex commercial litigation matters from initial case evaluation through trial or resolution. The role offers significant client interaction, autonomy, and mentorship in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all phases of business litigation, including case assessment, pleadings, discovery, hearings, mediation, and trial preparation.
  • Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and client correspondence.
  • Take ownership of assigned matters and proactively move cases forward.
  • Monitor deadlines, identify risks, and anticipate next steps throughout the litigation process.
  • Provide practical legal advice and maintain consistent communication with clients.
  • Collaborate closely with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case development.
  • Maintain high-quality work product while exercising sound judgment and attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member of the Georgia Bar in good standing, or eligible for admission.
  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably involving business or commercial disputes.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Strong academic credentials and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated professional who takes ownership of work and manages matters proactively.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems independently, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
