Business Management Year-Round Intern

Job Description Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting the MBU Prepared team on projects related to existing core business as well as new product development and new product launches, organizing and pulling financial reports, and any other category related activities that may arise. This position will assist with monitoring product availability and inventory as directed by the business unit team and assist with product quality cuttings and recaps. Requires work in Excel, data research, creating PowerPoint presentations and assisting BU Managers in various projects for the business unit team. Must be a self-starter and self-motivated with interest in learning about our vertically integrated model as an organization, along with our multi-diverse channels within prepared foods.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: Marketing, Finance, Business Management, Supply Chain majors preferred. Sophomore level or higher required. Must have at least one year of school remaining.
• Experience: Previous experience in an office environment preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills as this position interacts with all levels of management in different areas of the business.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, (Excel and PowerPoint are very critical to this position). We will train in Tyson related systems.
• Special Skills: Must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented, and able to handle the various projects they are given. Must be multi-task oriented with stress management skills as well as a team player who is excited to learn more about Tyson Foods

• Location: Students must be within a commutable distance to the facility, which is 60 miles or less.

• This position is a year-round internship located in Springdale, AR. The selected candidate should anticipate working in person 20 hours per week during the school year and in person 40 hours per week during the summer. *
