Business Manager
Salary: $78,000 – $85,000
Location: Bakersfield, CA
Schedule: On site | Full time
Key Responsibilities for the Business Manager:
Own the general ledger, month end close, and financial reporting
Manage multi state sales tax compliance and filings
Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and CPA ready schedules
Handle regulatory reporting including 1099s, property tax, and state fees
Support leadership with financial insights and operational reporting
Qualifications for the Business Manager:
Extensive hands on accounting and bookkeeping experience
Strong general ledger and financial statement ownership
Experience with multi state sales tax preferred
Comfortable working directly with CPAs and leadership
Degree preferred or equivalent practical experience
Strong Excel and accounting system proficiency
