Job Description Summary

Under the general supervision of the System Administrative Officer of the Corrections ICCE, the Business Manager provides administrative and operational support for the department. This position coordinates daily business activities, manages schedules and meetings, prepares reports and presentations, tracks projects and action items, and serves as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Teams is required.

Job Description

  • Coordinate and manage calendars, meetings, and department schedules
  • Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and follow-up action items
  • Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, dashboards, and tracking tools
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data
  • Create professional PowerPoint presentations and supporting materials
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and business documents
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Follow up with team members on outstanding tasks and assignments
  • Assist with purchase requests and procurement activities
  • Track invoices, budgets, and expenditures as directed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor"s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Administration, or related field preferred
  • Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered
  • 2-5 years of administrative, business operations, project coordination, or office management experience
  • Experience supporting senior leaders preferred
