The Kewaskum School District is searching for a dynamic, forward-thinking Business Manager to join our leadership team.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Manager oversees all financial and operational functions of the district. This key leadership role is responsible for budgeting, purchasing, food services, transportation, regulatory compliance, and human resource administration.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting and experience managing large operating budgets.
  • Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to plan backward, manage multiple priorities, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and consistently deliver timely results.
  • Strong systems thinking, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and hold others accountable while maintaining high standards of operational excellence.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

  • Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, Accounting, or the equivalent.
  • Two years of administrative or supervisory experience.
  • Two years of experience working in a school district.
  • Experience with student information systems, including Skyward, Frontline (formerly AESOP), and WISEdash applications.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to school finance.
  • Experience in or knowledge of human resources administration.
