Job Title: Business Manager - Mary H. Weir Library

Reports to: Executive Director of the Mary H. Weir Library

Salary: $37,500 to $50,000

Job Purpose: This position is responsible for bookkeeping, accounts payable, procurement, employee payroll submission and benefits enrollment for the Mary H. Weir Public Library. This position also oversees the maintenance of the Mary H. Weir building and grounds. The Business Manager prepares monthly financial reports to present to the Executive Director and the BOD and will coordinate the annual external audit.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of general accounting procedures, including accounts payable and payroll.
• Budget and project management experience,
• Proficiency in use of software programs such as Office and QuickBooks
• Proficiency in communicating, both orally and in writing
• Willingness to learn wvOASIS, West Virginia's financial and procurement system
• A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management, or the equivalent in work experience.
