Business Marketing Coordinator
POSITION OBJECTIVE -
- Provide comprehensive customer service support for the Chlor-Alkali Department by ensuring accurate and timely order processing, review, and approval in alignment with departmental guidelines.
- Act as a primary liaison between plant operations and customers to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery of shipments via railcars, trucks, barges and vessels.
- Maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction by delivering reliable service, addressing customer needs, and supporting long-term business relationships.
- Monitor and analyze caustic soda inventory at the Point Comfort and Baton Rouge plants to support efficient production planning and fulfillment activities.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY -
- Order Management-manage daily caustic soda order entry and close shipments in Web ERP.
- Waterway logistics coordination-Coordinate with Customers, Logistics Management, and Forwarder, to arrange bookings to insure on time delivery. Manage waterway transportation operation, swap activity.
- Inventory & Coordination-coordinate with plant to monitor inventory and align supply with demand.
- Pricing & Sales Review-update monthly pricing and review sales performance daily.
- Manage Customer Accounts and Credit, Customer Complaint.
- Reporting-prepare monthly reports and provide data analysis.
- Other tasks and projects assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED -
- 4 years College degree is required.
- 1 to 5 years Business Development experience is preferred.
- Marketing experience in the plastics industry is desirable.
- Must have basic computer skills, the ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Acquires and compiles Marketing data and verifies its accuracy, and reasonableness.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent English verbal and writing skills.
- Presentation and facilitation skills.
