Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, Virginia is actively seeking a Business Office Managerto complement our outstanding management team! The ideal candidate will be a top-notch professional with impeccable attention to detail and superior customer service.This is a Department Head position and reports directly to the facility Administrator.

The Business Office Manager is responsible for:
  • Maintenance of necessary billing and financial information on resident business files.
  • Maintenance of individual resident trust accounts and reconciliation of collective accounts monthly.
  • Month-end closing and corporate reporting.
  • Collection efforts with Business Office staff, including warrant in debts.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement system, allowable services and documentation required so billings are accurate.
  • Accurate records of payer sources, appropriate record keeping, and communication with residents regarding bills.
Required Experience:
  • Technical knowledge of Inpatient Skilled Nursing, Managed Care and long-term care billing for Medicare and Medicaid.
  • One to two years' experience in accounts receivable or bookkeeping is preferred in the long-term care or healthcare industry.
  • Experience managing staff members, including bookkeepers and receptionists.
  • Knowledge of basic office equipment & Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of billing software preferred.
  • Good interpersonal skills needed to effectively work with residents, families, and outside agencies.


Education requirements: two-year degree of college level accounting courses. A four-year college degree preferred.
