Position Summary

The Contract Manager reviews all School of Medicine contractual agreements and other legal documents flowing through the OPSCA. This position reviews contracts for completeness, and analyzes contract language to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with School of Medicine, University, state, and federal policies and regulations. Consults with departments and/or leadership, and ensures that department administrators have an understanding of operational obligations; and drafts, negotiates, and finalizes agreements in accordance with law and policy, within approved parameters.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or related business area; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
