Job Overview:
The Business Operations Analyst Senior will be a key member of the Mercury Product Management Team, responsible for ensuring application and process resiliency, addressing production issues, and supporting various forecasting engines. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders. The position involves shift work, including evenings and weekends, to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure application and process resiliency by addressing production issues during assigned shifts (non-business hours when assigned).
  • Respond to user inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Provide requirements for and/or assist with the development of Mercury Plus’s ICM and FAS forecasting engines.
  • Support the calculation of impacts associated with future model deployments.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of all engines within Mercury Plus.
  • Troubleshoot application-related issues in both production and lower environments as needed.
  • Communicate performance patterns and trends to stakeholders.
  • Support environment-related maintenance and management.
  • Develop automated tools to assist with core responsibilities.
  • Assist with project management tasks for the ICM and FAS forecasting engines.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of work experience.
  • Proven experience with analytical tools such as SQL, Python, and Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and/or Finance Analytics.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets effectively.
  • Willingness to work on weekends and evenings for one week a month.
  • Experience in interfacing with and/or supporting mission-critical applications or tasks.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with JIRA, including creating dashboards and maintaining tickets.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in pulling and writing Python scripts, SQL management, and Excel data analysis.
  • Technical background with hands-on development experience is a strong plus.
  • Prior production support experience is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule: This position requires shift work, including one week of nights and one weekend. Any hours over 40 will be compensated throughout the pay period and will not equate to overtime unless pre-approved.

Pay Range: $70- $75
