Introduction

This role focuses on supporting the Running Business and Brand through effective communication strategies. The candidate will work closely with the Global Brand Communications team, focusing on North America.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-4 years directly relevant work experience in communications within the sports industry, ideally in the running space.
  • Manager is requesting a write up sample of a press release or previous communications that have put together
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law 1 yr; Masters 0-3 yrs; Associates degree 1-3 yrs; High School 3-5 yrs.
  • Communications background with experience in writing press releases or previous communications.
  • Prior work experience at the company or in the company's industry.
  • Applicants must be LOCAL (NO RELOCATION) AND able to work directly for Artech on W2.
  • Strong understanding of and passion for running.
  • Flexibility with scheduling and attending events.
  • Previous experience at a PR Agency or an Event Agency.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Understand and convey company and product information to stakeholders through effective channels.
  • Foster and cultivate relationships with key media and stay updated on company happenings.
  • Organize and manage assigned projects and events, and participate in idea generation.
  • Assist media on-site at special events, photo shoots, interviews, and press conferences.
  • Research, write, and edit press releases, fact sheets, video packages, and speaking points.
  • Create and write PR plans; work with PR agencies and freelancers.
  • Administer the allocated budget, including invoicing and producing reports.
