Business Operations Lead, Engineering Staffing - Kennesaw, GA

We're looking for a Business Operations Lead to become the operational heartbeat of our client’s staffing business. You'll serve as the bridge between Sales and Recruiting, ensuring every job order moves with speed, precision, and urgency. More than just managing workflow, you'll coach teams in real time, improve processes, and help build a business that consistently delivers exceptional results.

What you’ll do:

Drive Execution
  • Own the day-to-day flow of job orders from intake through placement.
  • Keep Sales and Recruiting aligned on client priorities, hiring strategies, and delivery expectations.
  • Ensure every job receives the attention, urgency, and follow-through it deserves.
  • Monitor key service levels, including candidate submissions and client feedback, and remove roadblocks before they become problems.


Coach High Performance
  • Provide real-time coaching to recruiters and sales professionals on messaging, recruiting strategy, and client communication.
  • Lead daily stand-ups and pipeline reviews that create clarity and momentum.
  • Address performance gaps quickly with constructive feedback and practical solutions.
  • Build a culture centered on accountability, urgency, collaboration, and winning together.


Build Operational Excellence
  • Track and improve KPIs including fill rates, time-to-submit, placement quality, interview ratios, and fall-offs.
  • Identify delivery risks before they impact clients and proactively course-correct.
  • Standardize workflows and implement best practices that create consistency across the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to improve systems, reporting, automation, and operational scalability.


Elevate the Client Experience
  • Ensure every candidate submission is polished, accurate, and client-ready.
  • Serve as the escalation point for delivery or quality issues.
  • Lead post-placement reviews and use insights to continuously improve team performance and client satisfaction.


What you need:
  • 3+ years of experience in staffing operations, agency recruiting, or recruiting leadership.
  • Deep understanding of agency recruiting workflows, job order management, and client delivery.
  • A natural coach who leads through influence, accountability, and action.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple moving pieces.
  • Process-minded with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Comfortable using ATS, CRM, reporting, and recruiting technologies.
