In this role you will be responsible for managing a team of Business Operations Specialists who support and promote the operational excellence of the Boeing Global Services (BGS) Government Services business globally, directly supporting the executive leadership team. Additionally, you will be responsible for leading the development, execution, and implementation of cross functional improvement initiatives focused on systemic issues and processes impacting first time quality, on time delivery, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will model Boeing’s Service Champion culture, demonstrate a strong customer focus, and act as a change leader promoting a services-first approach.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing business management activities in the area of Business Operations
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Ensures work statement compliance and consistent management system processes and tools are used
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Utilizes knowledge of how the business and organization operates, policies, practices, trends, and information affecting the business and organization to achieve optimal project and team outcomes

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership.”
3+ years’ experience in Business Process Modeling, Process Management Skills, Integrated Systems Thinking, Process Improvement Methods and/or Analytical Skills
3+ years’ experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior management, customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
3+ years’ experience with project management and ability to self-manage projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's degree or higher
2+ years’ experience communicating, advising, or briefing Executive Leadership
1+ years’ supporting the design, development or implementation of digital solutions
