    Hours: Remote, M-F, 8am-4:30pm

    Summary:

    This position is posted at 2 levels based on experience:

    Associate Level

    Consultant-level

    Candidates will be aligned to the appropriate level based on experience and qualifications.

    Position Summary:

    Business Process Integration Associate

    The Business Process Integration Associate is responsible for coordinating and/or leading local and enterprise-wide level execution of Strategic Optimization Projects for their assigned area(s). This is a position requiring independent thought and judgment combined with the ability to understand front-line business operations in a multitude of unique settings.

    Working under limited supervision, this individual will facilitate implementation and acceptance of common healthcare technology applications.

    Accountabilities

    • Inform, design and assure implementation and adoption of technology.
    • Assure readiness for new implementations, upgrades, new hospitals/ practices, and workflows.
    • Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver strategically important projects through to completion
    • Support and understand the needs of the client.
    • Communications are timely and appropriate to audience.
    • Maintain confidential information.
    • Complete assignments in a timely manner.
    • Open to change and different approaches to work.
    • Clinical Team only: Coordinate and lead governance and prioritization within the local entities.
    • Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
    • Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization

    Required Education and Experience

    • H.S Diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience working with electronic medical records

    or

    • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience working with electronic medical records is required.
    • Master\'s Degree is Preferred
    • Prior experience in a medical practice management or healthcare management role is preferred.
    • Experience using Epic is preferred

    Licenses, Registrations, and Certifications

    • EPIC certification is preferred

    Business Process Integration Consultant

    The Business Process Integration Consultant is responsible for coordinating and/or leading local and enterprise-wide level execution of Strategic Optimization Projects for their assigned area(s).     • Assure departmental and system readiness for implementations, upgrades, new hospitals/practices.

    • Maintain confidentiality of information.
    • Complete assignments in a timely manner.
    • Open to change and different approaches to work.
