We have an outstanding Contract position for aBusiness Process Mapping Engineerto join a leading Company located in theSterling Heights, MIsurrounding area.

The Business Process Mapping Engineer position aligns with our efforts to move to a Digital Enterprise by modeling the link between all business processes. The ideal candidate for a Process Mapping Engineer role should have a strong background in engineering, a passion for process improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. They should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.





Responsibilities :



+ Map business processes both within and across multiple cross-functional departments, including engineering, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain


+ Creating process maps and flowcharts to help visualize and understand the process, including activities, roles and responsibilities, data, and tool/software usage


+ Collaborating with various business units, stakeholders, and team members to gather process information and requirements


+ Assessing existing business processes and driving process improvements by identifying areas for waste, redundancy, or lack of clarification


+ Designing efficient and effective business processes that meet the business needs and objectives


+ Assist in the successful deployment of the process changes to the business, including communication, training, and after deployment feedback


+ Training and guiding staff members on new processes and procedures


+ Monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of new processes and making adjustments as necessary


+ Maintain process models in a configuration control environment


+ Act as a subject matter expert in helping to move business from a digital process environment to digitalizing all business processes together within an enterprise-wide integrated state


+ Ensuring all business processes comply with industry regulations and standards






Basic Hiring Criteria :



+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant equivalent field


+ Minimum 6 years of relevant experience


+ Excellent oral and written communications


+ Our ideal candidates are familiar with business process modeling techniques and have hands-on experience with process improvement projects


+ Proven work experience as a Business Process Engineer or similar role


+ Experience with business process mapping and modeling


+ Knowledge of business process management principles and best practices


+ Process gap identification and process flow optimization recommendation experience


+ Proven experience in mapping processes to roles and responsibilities, to tools, to data flow


+ Experience using digitalization mapping tools such as Prime BPM


+ Experience leading Kaizen events


+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


+ Excellent communication and presentation skills






Desired Qualifications :



+ Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a relevant equivalent field)


+ 10 years of relevant experience


+ Experience with structured problem-solving techniques


+ Knowledge of technical requirements and systems relevant to Combat Vehicles


+ Knowledge of metrics related to Agile and use of them to report back to team members at all levels


+ 1+ years of Scrum/Agile management


+ In-depth knowledge of Engineering and/or manufacturing environments


+ Experience with project management
