Job Specifications

Join the City of Tallahassee as a Business Process Solutions Manager and lead technology initiatives that improve retirement services for City employees and retirees. Working closely with Retirement leadership, staff, and information technology partners, youll drive business process improvements, oversee technology projects, and deliver solutions that support strategic goals and operational excellence.

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology solutions that support Retirement operations and strategic business objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end technology projects, including scope, budgets, timelines, resources, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery.
  • Partner with business and information technology teams to identify process improvements, implement system enhancements, and support technology adoption and change management.
  • Build collaborative relationships across the organization to align technology initiatives with business needs and deliver efficient, customer-focused services.

Minimum Training & Experience

Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, geographic information science, engineering, geography, planning, business or public administration, or a related field, and four years of technical or professional experience that includes computer systems analysis or business process analysis. Possession of a masters degree in computer science may substitute one year of experience.

Possession of a High School Diploma or GED and eight years of technical or professional experience that includes computer systems analysis or business process analysis.

Salary Range

$29.0888 to $78.9348/hourly. Hiring rate generally will not exceed $55.3487/hour

Drivers License Requirements

At the department directors discretion, a valid Class E State driver's license may be required.
