Job Title: Business Project Manager
Location-Type: Remote (Must be EST & CST candidates only)
Start Date Is: Targeting July 1
Duration: Through end of year (contract, potential extension & conversion)
Pay Rate Range: $50-68/hour W2
Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, 401K

Job Description:
Lead the execution of large, complex projects by overseeing full project lifecycle delivery, stakeholder alignment, and risk management.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, execution, and delivery
  • Manage budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and milestone tracking
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks across business, technology, and operations
  • Develop and execute communication plans for stakeholders and leadership
  • Partner with PMO leadership to maintain project governance and health
  • Oversee multiple workstreams and coordinate cross-functional teams
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, reporting, and compliance requirements
  • Support governance audits and contribute to process improvements
  • Provide leadership, feedback, and direction to project team members

Requirements:

Must-Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree with 6–8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong project management experience leading complex initiatives
  • Experience managing budgets and strategic programs/projects
  • Proven leadership, change management, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and Visio
  • Experience with Microsoft Project Server, SharePoint, or similar PPM tools
Nice-to-Haves:
  • Experience working within a PMO structure
  • Exposure to business process re-engineering initiatives
  • Prior experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams
