As the Business Service Advisor at our Miramar Operations Center, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying, developing, and expanding relationships with prospective and existing business members. This role serves as a consultative partner to members by assessing needs, recommending appropriate products and services, and delivering solutions that support member goals and business objectives. The position requires a strong sales mindset, effective business development skills, the ability to manage a pipeline of opportunities, and a high level of personal accountability for sales activity and follow-through. The role also requires strategic thinking, sound judgment, strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in support of overall member satisfaction and revenue growth.

Business Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with prospective and existing business members to support growth in business deposits, loans, and related services.
• Understand members' needs and recommend appropriate business products and services that align with their financial goals and operational needs.
• Generate new business opportunities through proactive outreach, networking, relationship development, referrals, and community engagement.
• Build, manage, and maintain a consistent sales pipeline by prospecting, conducting follow-up, tracking opportunities, and advancing relationships through the sales process.
• Meet or exceed established sales goals, performance expectations, and key performance indicators, including production, relationship growth, activity levels, and member experience standards.
• Prepare and deliver business development presentations, product recommendations, and proposals in a professional and member-focused manner.

Business Service Advisor Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, business development, outside sales, relationship management, financial services sales, or a comparable member-facing business development role required.
• Experience building, managing, and maintaining a sales pipeline, including prospecting, outbound outreach, follow-up, and opportunity tracking, required.
• Experience in banking, credit union, treasury services, business lending support, merchant services, or other financial services environments preferred.
• Experience using CRM tools to document activity, manage follow-up, maintain pipeline visibility, and support reporting preferred.
• Must complete the Association of Accredited Small Business Consultants Simplified Examination within 60 days of employment.
• Two-year College or University diploma (Associate's) in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or equivalent experience required.
• Valid Florida Driver's license and good driving record required with a working vehicle.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency preferred.
• The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the Broward and Palm Beach service territory.

Business Service Advisor Compensation

• Starting Salary: $28.13 - $29.79/hour or $58,510 - $61,962/year plus monthly commission
• Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

As the Express Service Associate at our Miramar Operations Center, you will promote SCCU's financial products by converting incoming and outbound calls from new and existing members into closed sales by providing outstanding service, product and service information, addressing concerns and guiding members to the right fit product.

Express Service Associate Key Responsibilities

• Handle outgoing and incoming member phone calls, conduct loan interviews, assesses member needs, and cross sells other SCCU products and services. Provide fast, friendly, effective service to the members.
• Opens new memberships and looks for opportunities to add-on deposit products for existing members to ensure the retention and profitability of members.
• Analyzes loan applications, credit bureau reports and member account data to match the member to the appropriate product or service and maximize loan and add-on.
• Enters the loan or new account application in the loan origination system in accordance with required data entry procedures to meet established quality standards. Monitors pipeline to follow up on pending applications, collects required documentation, and keeps members informed throughout the loan/account process.
• Meets established productivity standards to ensure efficiency.
• Participates in regular product, system, and compliance training to maintain knowledge of changes in policies, procedures, and product offerings.

Express Service Associate Requirements

• Minimum 1 to 3 years prior experience in sales and customer service or consumer loan processing/interviewing. Telephone sales preferred.

• High School plus additional course work gained through attendance at vocational, technical or business school or equivalent experience.

• This position requires federal registration with the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) if the Team Member performs mortgage loan originator activities, including taking residential mortgage loan applications or offering/negotiating residential mortgage loan terms. The Team Member must obtain and maintain active NMLS registration and a unique identifier before performing MLO activities. Continued eligibility to perform MLO duties is subject to satisfactory completion of applicable NMLS registration requirements, including required background check review, fingerprinting, renewal, and ongoing compliance obligations. Failure to obtain or maintain required NMLS registration may result in removal from MLO duties and may lead to further employment action, consistent with SCCU policy and applicable law.

• You must have the ability to obtain CUNA Mutual licensing within the first eight weeks of initial employment. The CUNA Mutual License is required for this position.

• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency required.

Express Service Associate Compensation

• Starting Salary: $24.74 - $26.20/hour or $51,450 - $54,505/year plus monthly commission
• Bonus Opportunity: Eligible for ONE SCCU Annual Bonus.

Work Schedule

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
