The Business Systems Analyst will build and maintain relationships with employers in in-demand industries to strengthen connections between local businesses and the Office of Workforce and Career Development. This role focuses on understanding industry workforce needs, gathering labor market data, and fostering partnerships that support workforce development in Middlesex County. Working with the Job Developer and the Office of Workforce and Career Development staff, the Business Analyst aligns employer engagement efforts with career pathways and talent pipelines for job seekers in OWCD programs.
The Office of Workforce and Career Development (OWCD) leads the design, delivery, and oversight of Middlesex County’s workforce system. As the administrator of WIOA Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth programs, as well as WorkFirst New Jersey (TANF, GA, SNAP, and ABAWD), OWCD provides eligibility, assessment, case management, supportive services, training coordination, and employment placement. The office ensures that all services align with state and federal requirements while maintaining a data-driven, compliance-focused operating model that supports residents in accessing skills, credentials, and career pathways in high-demand industries.
