The primary function of the Business Services Supervisor is to provide support and outreach to campus stakeholders with regards to facilities-related requests. This includes the following:

  • Supervises FM front desk staff with daily operations, reporting, and troubleshooting with stakeholders.
  • Advises stakeholders in navigating and understanding processes and policies.
  • Utilizes CMMS software such as AiM daily to manage FM workflows.
  • Manages steel key issuance processes.

Required Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or the equivalent
  • Three years of full-time related professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Associate's degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication, listening, record keeping, and information management skills. Ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to retain knowledge concerning university and department policies, think critically, and make appropriate judgment calls pertaining to policies and emergency response.
  • Customer service orientation, due to the importance of positive first impressions and positive subsequent contacts with stakeholders.
  • Ability and willingness to work with colleagues and supervisor to building a work schedule of peers and direct reports to ensure sufficient coverage is available.
