Business Solutions Manager

INOVA Federal Credit Union is seeking a strategic, innovative, and results-driven Manager of Business Solutions to lead the alignment of technology, data, and innovation with organizational goals.

This leadership position is responsible for overseeing business systems and related data, business intelligence, automation and development with the goal to improve operational efficiency and enhance the member experience. Working closely with executive leadership, department leaders, and technology teams, the Manager of Business Solutions will maintain existing systems and implement new solutions to help shape the future of how technology supports our organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Credit Union's business solutions staff.
• Execute technology strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee business application support, database administration, automation initiatives, and software development.
• Partner with executive leadership and department managers to identify opportunities for innovation and operational excellence.
• Oversee data analytics, reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions that support informed decision-making.
• Participate in cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
• Build strong partnerships with technology vendors and assist in evaluating solutions that provide long-term organizational value.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Business Solutions team while fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Information Technology leadership to ensure business systems align with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish governance, documentation, and best practices for data and business applications.
• Monitor technology trends and recommend innovative solutions that improve member service and organizational performance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, internal policies, and security standards.
• Perform other leadership responsibilities as assigned.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field required.
• 2 or more years of progressive leadership experience in business systems, technology, digital transformation, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of business intelligence, reporting, data analytics, and automation technologies.
• Experience completing projects with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience evaluating and managing technology vendors and third-party business solutions.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within financial services, banking, or the credit union industry.
• Familiarity with SQL, Oracle databases, or business intelligence platforms.
• Experience with core banking systems, digital banking platforms, or regulated financial environments.
• Experience with platforms such as Fiserv DNA, Alkami Digital Banking, Lodestar Business Intelligence, or similar technologies.
• Experience implementing artificial intelligence (AI), robotic process automation (RPA), or workflow automation solutions.

Position Details

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position located at INOVA Federal Credit Union's Corporate Office in Elkhart, Indiana.

The Manager of Business Solutions will work closely with executive leadership and department leaders across the organization to improve business processes, leverage technology, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance both the employee and member experience.
