WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Business Strategy Associate is responsible for the identification of market and industry insights including production of the quarterly industry insights report, providing innovation assessments for new business opportunities, identifying capability gaps, and monitoring internal and external risks. In addition, this role will serve as a liaison working with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives align with the business strategic direction.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  1. Market and Industry Insights Assessments
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research, including opportunity sizing, competitor landscape, and industry benchmarking to support strategic decisions.

  • Provide innovation assessments on new business opportunities, identifying capability gaps to support enterprise strategic direction.

  • Summarize and generate quarterly industry insights report for the organization.

  • Monitor ongoing internal and external risks to minimize impact to the organization and strategic roadmap.

  1. Support Project Initiatives
  • Support enterprise strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with business strategic goals.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate discussions and coordinate changes and meet deadlines.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify business opportunities and operational improvements.

  1. Support Leadership Meetings
  • Prepare presentations and communications for executive regarding annual planning meetings, strategic decision making, etc.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Strategic Initiatives, Research, Competitive Intelligence, Data Analytics, and/or Performance Management managing intelligence gathering and benchmarking.

  • Captive automotive finance knowledge a plus.

  • SAS, SQL, Python, and other data analysis tools experience a plus.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing Research, Finance or related field required.

  • Working knowledge of primary and secondary research techniques.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with all levels of the organization and guide teams in aligning with strategic goals.

  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities to manage cross-functional projects.

  • Proven ability to align articles and features with company goals and messaging.

  • Proven ability to create content and interview stakeholders to gather insights for quarterly publications.
