Job Title: Mortgage Operations / Lock Desk Support (Contract)
Location: Glen Allen, VA 23059 (4 days onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $23.98/hr W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented contractor to support Mortgage Retail & Correspondent Lock Desk operations. The role partners with Loan Officers and internal teams to maintain accurate loan pricing, locks, and data while ensuring compliance and timely pipeline processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain rate locks, relocks, extensions, renegotiations, and pricing updates

• Perform manual loan data updates and validate eligibility/pricing rules

• Support reporting, audits, and testing during rule rollouts

• Manage high-volume email queues and resolve pipeline issues with stakeholders

• Ensure accuracy and compliance across mortgage operations

Required Skills

• Strong math aptitude (percentages, rates, calculations)

• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency

• Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Mortgage industry experience

• Experience with Empower, Encompass, SPARK, or PollyEx
