Business Support Representative
Location: Drakesboro, KY (Paradise Plant)
Position Type: Contract (approx. 2 Months)
Schedule: September 7, 2026 November 28, 2026
Pay Rate: $23.75 / hour
Position Overview
Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Business Support Representative to assist the largest public energy provider in the U.S. at the Paradise Plant in Drakesboro, KY. This role performs standard and non-standard administrative and operational support transactions across various management support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Records Management: Ensure proper classification, storage, retention, and disposal of organizational records.
Office & Equipment Coordination: Serve as the primary contact for office and telecommunications equipment (copiers, cellular devices, fax machines, and general telecommunications).
Data & Reporting: Maintain entry of required schedules and data into business systems; format and retrieve standard and custom reports while identifying/resolving data discrepancies.
Procurement & Materials: Perform procurement and materials management tasks, following contractual agreements to requisition and receive goods and services.
Operational Support: Serve as a coordination point for departmental activities, provide orientation or training in functional areas, and support business planning, facilities, or payroll operations as needed.
Qualifications
Proven experience at the Administrative Representative level.
Strong proficiency in PC software applications and general familiarity with plant/organization business systems and processes.
Demonstrated ability to select, apply, and explain procedures to resolve discrepancies and coordinate results.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree, relevant certification, or equivalent practical experience preferred.
