Omega Morgan believes that each employee makes a significant contribution to our success. That contribution should not be limited by the assigned responsibilities. Therefore, this position description is designed to outline primary duties, qualifications and job scope, but not limit the individual nor the organization to just the work identified. It is our expectation that each employee will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of our endeavors.

Summary:

Business Systems Administrator to own the day-to-day administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of our ERP and job management systems and the integrations and automations that connect them to the rest of the business. This is a hands-on, individual-contributor role focused on translating operational needs into reliable system configuration, clean data, and dependable automated workflows. It works closely with departmental leaders across operations, finance, and sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

ERP and Job Management Systems

  • Serve as a senior subject-matter expert on the Sales/Job management platform and act as a key interface for departmental leaders, translating operational needs into system configuration, data, and reporting.
  • Manage the creation, modification, and health of system records such as business partners, AP/AR invoices, quotes, jobs, pricing/cost updates, and user access across the ERP and downstream systems.
  • Maintain configuration, data integrity, and overall health of the ERP and job management environments, and coordinate API access, credentials, and data sharing with third-party vendors and consulting partners.

Integrations and Automation

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations and automated workflows between the ERP/job management platform and other business applications.
  • Monitor integration health, troubleshoot data-sync and API issues, and improve the reliability and performance of automated processes.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities to automate manual, repetitive tasks across operations, finance, and sales.

Reporting and Data

  • Build and maintain Power BI reports drawn from ERP and job management data to support divisional leaders in operations, finance, and sales.
  • Author and maintain custom Excel reporting for finance, sales, and operations where Power BI is not the right tool, and ensure data feeding reports is accurate and consistent across systems.

Required Skills

  • Strong systems and process aptitude, with the ability to map operational needs to system configuration, integrations, and automation
  • Strong technical depth across business systems, data, and integrations, with the judgment to know when to dig into the detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitude
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate between technical staff, executives, and field employees
  • Comfortable being the go-to point of contact for complex ERP, data, and integration issues
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage competing demands
  • Sound judgment around security, data integrity, and risk
  • Ability to partner effectively with non-technical stakeholders across operations, finance, sales, and HR

Required Experience and/or Education

  • 5+ years in IT, business systems, or ERP/application administration roles
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrations and automations (REST APIs, webhooks, iPaaS/middleware, and scripting such as PowerShell, Python, or Power Automate)
  • Demonstrated experience administering one or more business platforms end-to-end (ERP, operations platform, or industry-specific system) including user setup, configuration, data integrity, and integrations
  • Working Power BI and Excel skills, including data modeling and building reports for a business audience
  • Working knowledge of identity and access concepts (Active Directory/Entra ID, MFA, group-based access) as they relate to business-system user provisioning
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL for querying and validating system data
  • Experience supporting a non-tech, field-heavy organization (construction, logistics, manufacturing, transportation, energy) preferred
  • Relevant certifications such as ERP/business-application administration, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure/Power BI, or ITIL preferred

Benefits

  • Health insurance
  • 401(k) matching
  • Vision insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Disability insurance
  • Paid holidays
  • PTO/Vacation/Sick
