Description
Position Summary:
Step into a high-impact leadership role—transform business systems, enhance procurement performance, and shape UDRI’s operational future. UDRI is seeking a Business Systems Administrator – Team Lead to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Business Systems team, with primary responsibility for the administration, optimization, and governance of the JAGGAER procurement platform. This role combines hands-on system administration with team leadership and business partnership. The position leads the business systems team, which is responsible for the system administration of all UDRI business systems. This position will serve as the lead system administrator for UDRI procurement system, JAGGAER. The Team Lead will ensure system reliability, integration integrity, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across UDRI’s business systems.
The ideal candidate possesses strong procurement system expertise, experience managing technical staff, and the ability to align business systems architecture with institutional and federal compliance requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or relevant field and 10 years of relevant experience. • Five years of leadership or team coordination experience. • Experience supporting enterprise procurement or source-to-pay platforms. • Experience managing system integrations and workflow automation. • Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to lead in a team environment and effectively interface with a variety of teams. • Due to the requirements of our research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates for this position must be a U.S. person (i.e., a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee).
Preferred Qualifications:
While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:
• Direct experience with JAGGAER platform administration. • Experience supporting procurement systems in a research or government contracting environment. • Familiarity with API-based integrations and middleware solutions. • Experience supporting systems in environments subject to federal oversight or regulated compliance frameworks. • Strong understanding of procurement-to-pay and supplier lifecycle management processes.
