OVERVIEW
Assignment
This assignment will support *** s (BPA s) Transmission Field Services organization, specifically working within the Business Controls and Information (TFAI) group. This group is responsible for providing an accessible, reliable, and comprehensive asset register, working closely with the Work Planning and Evaluation Group to develop maintenance plans and providing critical information to the Reliability Centered Management group. The Business Systems Analyst 2 will analyze and document existing processes, as well as facilitate future state process design and re-engineering work sessions. The analyst will also perform data gathering and analysis, write business requirements, and participate in change management activities to support the overall business transformation effort.
Organization
The person in this assignment will be joining a team that is dedicated to our customers and our mission of driving maintenance for BPA s 15,000 miles of transmission lines, as well as the numerous substations and associated equipment throughout a six-state region. Working daily with data and collaborating with our customers and partners to solve complex problems is the norm for this role. We are a focused organization that enjoys collaborating with our customers to better understand and meet their needs.
Because several systems integrate to drive the maintenance of our systems, this role presents many engaging challenges. We model and test solutions, then work with our IT partners to implement changes. Our office is located on a compound alongside several of our customers, so while some travel to other locations is necessary, they are generally within walking distance.
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of data systems and how to configure them. They should also be energetic, highly collaborative, and capable of working closely with customers to define requirements and suggest solutions.
