Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support a high-impact project focused on Business Intelligence (BI), Data Visualization, and Data Warehousing. This role will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring business requirements are accurately translated into scalable data solutions and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications and BI/reporting requirements
  • Support the development of interactive dashboards and reports (Tableau preferred)
  • Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, transformation logic, and consistency
  • Design and document data flows, mappings, and business rules
  • Create and maintain BRDs, user stories, and process documentation
  • Partner with engineering teams on data warehouse and integration initiatives
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Support UAT, validation, and business sign-off for dashboards and reports
  • Provide ongoing project support or serve as a backfill for existing BSA functions
Required Qualifications
  • 5–6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst / Business Analyst
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering and documentation
  • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau preferred)
  • Solid understanding of data visualization principles and dashboard design
  • Experience working with data warehouses and large datasets
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts (ETL processes, data modeling, star/snowflake schemas)
  • Experience with SQL and data querying
  • Familiarity with data integration workflows and reporting pipelines
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Domain experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Healthcare (nice to have)
