CHRISTIAN PURPOSE AND EXPECTATIONS:
All employees proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their employment, and thereby further BGEA’s religious mission.
Department Detail –The Internet Evangelism department takes the Gospel to the world through SearchforJesus.net, a ministry built on digital tools and online strategies. Through websites like PeaceWithGod.net and various social media platforms, the Good News goes out in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, Russian, and American Sign Language. Online visitors to these pages engage with trained volunteers through chat, private messaging, texts, and emails to get their spiritual questions answered. Those who respond to the Gospel invitation are mentored by discipleship volunteers as they go through online Bible study courses and are referred to local churches in their area.
Job Summary –The Business Systems Analyst position will support ServeWell and its connected ministry platforms by bridging ministry needs and technology systems. This role will gather and clarify business requirements, coordinate system configuration and testing, support troubleshooting and vendor collaboration, and help standardize platform operations across ministries. The position will also support the transition from Totara to a new vendor-developed learning platform integrated into ServeWell, serving as a key liaison among ministry stakeholders, Product, Development, IT, Cybersecurity, and external vendors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborates with ministry stakeholders, Product, Development, IT, Cybersecurity, and vendors to gather, document, clarify, and prioritize business and system requirements for ServeWell and connected ministry platforms
- Analyzes ministry workflows and platform processes to identify opportunities to improve consistency, efficiency, user experience, business rules, and system configuration across ministries
- Supports user acceptance testing, system releases, integrations, configuration changes, and new functionality
- Triages platform issues, coordinate troubleshooting, and determine appropriate escalation to Product, Development, IT, Cybersecurity, or external vendors
- Coordinates ministry onboarding, configuration, implementation, and training activities
- Supports the transition from Totara to the new learning platform, including requirements, data validation, course setup, permissions, testing, user acceptance, and change-management support
- Facilitates meetings, workshops, and enhancement discussions to translate ministry and user needs into clear requirements and actionable system changes
- Coordinates with internal technical teams and external vendors to resolve issues and advance platform needs
- Documents business processes, system requirements, procedures, support materials, and training resources
- Supports Primary Workspace Administrators and users with system questions, configuration needs, access, and issue resolution
- Supports FaithBase and other connected applications, including access, configuration, testing, and issue coordination
- Participates in roadmap planning, enhancement discussions, and prioritization of ServeWell and ministry-platform needs

Job Specifications
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, product support, project coordination, or enterprise application support, preferably in non-profits, NGOs, or mission-driven organizations
- Experience gathering and documenting business and system requirements, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong documentation skills
- Experience with user acceptance testing, issue tracking, process documentation, and supporting system or platform changes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to translate ministry and user needs into clear requirements and actionable system changes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business, technical, ministry, and vendor teams
- Passion for impacting people’s lives through sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms, integrations, permissions, workflow automation, and enterprise application support
- Experience with agile methodologies, product support practices, or low-code/no-code platforms
- Experience supporting LMS or enterprise platform implementations and system migrations is preferred
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, SSO, and system integrations; language skills are a plus for international collaboration
