Pay Range: $70-$76/hr. *Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.
Job Summary
Business Systems Analyst – Enrollment & Member/Provider Services to support the implementation and stabilization of healthcare payer systems, including HealthRules Payer (HRP) and GuidingCare.
The analyst will serve as a key liaison between Enrollment, Member/Provider Services, IT, business stakeholders, and external vendors, ensuring successful system implementation, data migration, testing, operational readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support large-scale healthcare system implementation and migration initiatives.
- Provide testing support including UAT, regression testing, SIT, and system validation.
- Validate migrated enrollment, member, demographic, and provider data.
- Review system configuration for accuracy and completeness.
- Track, triage, document, and follow up on defects and system issues.
- Develop and maintain business processes, workflows, SOPs, and system documentation.
- Support operational readiness, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Coordinate requirements and integration points between Enrollment and Member/Provider Services.
- Ensure business requirements are aligned across functional teams.
- Identify workflow gaps, duplication, conflicting requirements, and process issues.
- Provide post-go-live system maintenance and operational support.
- Perform data quality checks and reconciliation activities.
- Support workflow optimization and continuous process improvement.
- Act as a liaison between Operations, IT, implementation teams, and vendors.
- Support system enhancements, releases, issue resolution, and stabilization.
- Maintain implementation knowledge and documentation for ongoing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or Systems Analyst in healthcare.
- Healthcare enrollment experience is required.
- Experience with large-scale system migration is required.
- Experience with system implementation is required.
- Strong experience with UAT, regression testing, data validation, and defect management.
- Experience working with health plans, healthcare payers, Medicaid, Medicare, or managed care organizations.
- Strong business process and workflow analysis skills.
- Experience coordinating across business, IT, and vendor teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with HealthRules Payer (HRP).
- Experience with GuidingCare.
- Experience with other payer platforms such as FACETS, QNXT, MMIS, or similar systems.
- Experience with enrollment/member/provider data migration.
- Experience supporting post-go-live stabilization.
- Experience with healthcare payer implementations and integrations.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Public Health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant healthcare systems/business analysis experience.
