Revises existing systems and tests functionality of the system to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective processes, data integrity, conversion, and/or input/output requirements. May document testing and maintenance of system updates, modifications, and configurations. Works on systems analysis, systems management, and systems implementation projects. Works under strict deadlines and high workloads independently to complete necessary tasks. Provides timely problem resolution and minimizes impact on productivity. Documents, interprets, and translates user needs and issues into functional requirements for system capabilities and reporting. Analyze and research challenges that provide information for management to make effective business decisions related to the deployment of system resources. Provides data analysis of business needs. Trains work group members on specific tasks and business and technical processes. Advises others on systems analysis, configuration, or systems administration tasks. Responsible for the operations, applications, and regulatory compliance related to IT Systems implemented at the local facilities. Advises others on systems analysis, programming, or systems administration tasks, and serves as a technical contact for a facility. Ensure the accurate, timely, and quality shipment of orders and finished orders to Pharmaceutical/Consumer customers. Communicate priorities, schedules, and distribution strategy that aligns with distribution's strategic direction. Proficient in the use of the key logistics operating systems and technology to effectively coordinate the day-to-day operations. Analyzes and resolves technical issues and/or systemic needs/challenges and generates reports in a timely manner. Plan and schedule work activities for a department in accordance with the production schedule and shifting priorities. Shares knowledge and experience with coworkers and develops the team’s overall capability. Maintain effective communications with various functions (Customer Service, Planning, Production) and coordination lines with our customers to resolve our customers' problems with production and orders/returns. Ensures alignment and consistent communication across multiple distribution centers, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements. Provides technical and operational support to multiple distribution centers, ensuring systems and processes are optimized for efficient performance.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Systems & WMS Support Provide functional and operational support for RedPrairie WMS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and transaction monitoring. Configure system parameters and specifications to support warehouse processes and operational requirements (receiving, picking, shipping, inventory, returns). Revise and enhance existing WMS configurations and system logic to improve efficiency, accuracy, and system performance. Perform system testing and validation related to fixes, enhancements, and configuration changes; document results as required. Analyze system issues impacting warehouse execution and provide timely resolution to minimize operational downtime.Operations & Process Enablement Partner closely with warehouse operations teams to understand workflows and ensure system behavior aligns with physical processes. Translate operational challenges and user feedback into functional system requirements, enhancements, or defect fixes. Support accurate and timely order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and regulatory compliance through effective system execution. Assist with planning and execution of system related activities aligned with production schedules and shifting operational priorities.Analysis, Reporting & Continuous Improvement Analyze data and system outputs to identify trends, systemic issues, and opportunities for process or system improvement. Prepare and generate operational and system reports to support decision making. Support cross functional process improvement initiatives across distribution centers to drive consistency and best practices.Training & Knowledge Transfer Train warehouse associates and support staff on WMS processes, transactions, and system best practices. Develop and maintain basic system documentation, job aids, or process guidance as needed. Serve as a site level technical SME and escalation point for WMS and distribution system topics.Collaboration & Communication Maintain effective working relationships with Operations, Customer Service, Planning, Production, IT, and external partners. Communicate system priorities, planned changes, and impacts clearly to stakeholders. Support alignment and consistent execution across multiple distribution centers where applicable. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Ability to fluently read, write, and communicate in English. 2+ years of experience supporting warehouse or distribution operations, with direct exposure to WMS driven environments. Hands on experience with RedPrairie (JDA) WMS in an operational or system support role. Preferred / Strongly Desired Experience supporting WMS in a high volume distribution center. Understanding of end to end warehouse processes (receiving through shipping/returns). Experience translating business processes into system behavior or configuration.
