BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST

Please note that this position will be filled as limited-term.
Limited term positions are funded for a specific duration-this assignment is estimated to last approximately three (3) years. While limited in funding, incumbents appointed to limited-term roles receive the same benefits as regular employees. All limited-term positions are subject to the same probationary period as regular-status positions within the same classification.
OCERS offers a competitive benefits package, a defined benefit pension plan which has reciprocity with the Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), and a deferred compensation 457 plan. Job Summary
OCERS is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Information Technology Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support enterprise-wide technology initiatives focused on Agentic AI, intelligent automation, and business process transformation over the next 3-5 years.
This role will work closely with OCERS Information Technology (IT), Information Security, and the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to evaluate, design, and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, reduce risk, and improve service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
OCERS is currently in the process of implementing a new Pension Administration System (PAS). This next-generation platform will leverage advanced capabilities including process automation, orchestration, and agentic AI functionality. The BSA will play a critical role in bridging current-state operations with future-state processes, supporting both the PAS implementation and broader organizational transformation efforts.

Experience supporting large-scale system implementations, preferably in pension, financial, or public sector environments.
Familiarity with automation, workflow orchestration, and AI-driven solutions, including emerging agentic AI concepts.
Lean process improvement certification (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies such as:
Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).
Azure services and integrations.
Microsoft 365 and related tools.
Experience in evaluating, designing, testing, and deploying enterprise technology solutions.
