Business Systems Analyst
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to support and improve business applications, data reporting, and technology-driven processes. This role combines hands-on application administration, end-user support, and project coordination. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technology while collaborating with business stakeholders to identify solutions, improve efficiency, and support system implementations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain business applications, including ERP/CRM platforms, proprietary systems, and reporting tools.
  • Manage system configurations, user access, and routine application maintenance.
  • Coordinate data flows between operational systems and reporting platforms, including Power BI, Sigma, and SSRS.
  • Evaluate business processes, gather requirements, and identify opportunities for automation and improvement, including Agentic AI solutions.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures, and user guides.
  • Provide application and data support, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate resolutions with internal development teams and external vendors.
  • Communicate with end users throughout the support process and confirm issues are resolved.
  • Train and support employees in the effective use of business applications.
  • Coordinate system implementations, upgrades, and migrations, including the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Track project milestones, communicate status updates, and identify potential risks.
  • Collaborate with vendors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to support system integrations and ongoing application needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; alternatively, five years of relevant experience in project management, process documentation, data visualization/reporting, or application support.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM platforms strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and platforms such as Snowflake strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of application development and project management methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, or Waterfall, is desirable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse teams across different time zones, countries, and organizations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
