Business Systems Analyst

Description: Candidates should have the following abilities/experience:
• Highly organized

• Systems thinking
• Ability to create high-quality requirements documents, flowcharts, and user stories
• Experience working with AI to accelerate discovery and delivery
• Experience working in insurance industry highly preferred

Project management skills
This is a true Business Analyst (not technical/system analyst) — no coding or tech stack experience required
Strong communication skills and fluent English are critical, as this person will facilitate meetings with business stakeholders and SMEs
Experience with requirements gathering, working sessions, and translating business needs into clear outcomes
Ability to create high-quality user stories for business features
Ability to coordinate and support business testing efforts
Background in insurance (preferably disability/absence or benefits) is highly preferred
Will support Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement and Program Increment (PI) planning
Role will directly support Engagement Manager as Product Owner on the MyBenefits employee portal
This role will help bridge the gap between business and technical developers and translate business requirements into user stories
