Title: Business Systems Analyst
Location: Orangeburg, SC
Hire Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $38/hr - $45/hr depending on experience

We are seeking a highly analytical and solutions-focused Business Systems Analyst to lead the evaluation, design, and implementation of automated and standardized systems that address complex business challenges. This role partners closely with stakeholders to improve processes, drive efficiency, and deliver scalable, technology-enabled solutions aligned with business needs.

Job Duties:
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement based on industry trends and best practices
  • Work directly with stakeholders to enhance operational procedures, efficiency, productivity, and strategic outcomes
  • Research, design, test, and support new systems and system enhancements aligned with business and customer requirements
  • Develop and present reports and solution proposals to executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Oversee system implementation projects from initiation through completion, following the full software development lifecycle
  • Write clear, detailed functional and technical specifications for development and implementation teams
  • Utilize technical and functional analysis tools to evaluate complex systems, identify patterns, and generate actionable insights
  • Design scalable frameworks and processes through structured intake, prioritization, and requirements management
  • Troubleshoot technical malfunctions and conduct risk analysis in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Provide consulting support to end users to ensure accurate system adoption and implementation
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role
  • Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred, but candidates from other industries will be considered
  • Strong experience querying databases and building dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI
  • Solid SQL skills with the ability to create reporting solutions from raw data
  • Ability to navigate Visual Studio and Loftware Spectrum softwares
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level system implementations
  • Familiarity with WMS platforms (Conexis or similar systems preferred)
  • Ability to gather requirements, analyze data, and communicate complex technical concepts clearly
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills
  • Lean manufacturing, APICS, or basic project management experience is a plus
