This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to Agile (Kanban and Sprint) and traditional Waterfall methodologies for the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze problems and document business processes.
  • Develop requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage requirements traceability and testing.
  • Handle multiple projects, adapting to changing priorities and processes.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify system gaps and deficiencies.
  • Diagram current processes and proposed modifications using process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
  • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, use cases, process flows, and other artifacts.
  • Collaborate with staff, vendors, consultants, and contractors to formulate, detail, and test potential and implemented solutions.
  • Perform Quality Analyst functions such as defining test objectives, test plans, and test cases, and executing test cases.
  • Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing with Business and ensure Project Managers/Scrum Masters are informed of the progress.
  • Serve as the liaison between business users, project managers, developers, and other stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts.
  • 5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodology.
  • Experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs.
  • Proficient with defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance process with development.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Team Foundation Server for agile software development and work item tracking.
  • Ability to create low and high-fidelity wireframes to visually represent user flows and functionality.
  • Experience building interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop.
  • Certified Scrum Master or equivalent experience running sprints and ceremonies.
