Overview
Are you a strategic problem solver who loves bridging the gap between business needs and technology?
Join the Department of County Assets (DCA) as a Senior Business Systems Analyst! Serving as a trusted bridge between business partners and IT, you will manage service requests and assigned projects while analyzing business processes. You will collaborate with the Department of County Human Services to align with strategic goals and lead data analytics initiatives that continuously improve our systems.

Minimum Qualifications/Transferable Skills:*
AND
Three (3) years or more experience in of the following areas:
Experience leading and developing complex project documentation, including requirements, business specifications, process analysis, and User Acceptance Test plans.
Experience with analytical and consultative support for IT systems, covering operation, maintenance, enhancement, and advanced troubleshooting.
Experience with advising and influencing business partners on technology solutions, and facilitating key decision-making to align business and IT strategy.
Experience with coordinating and managing vendor activities for the successful delivery and integration of third-party solutions.
Experience using AI tools to assist in solving technical problems and in the software development process

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This recruitment may be used to fill full-time, part-time, temporary, limited duration and on-call positions.
Location: The official work location is the Multnomah Building, 501 SE Hawthorne Blvd., Suite 400, Portland, OR 97214.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. There is some flexibility with the start and end times.
Hybrid Telework: This role is designated as hybrid telework, consisting of three onsite days per week (Tuesday-Thursday) and two telework days. Additional in-office days may be required based on business needs. The designation of Hybrid Telework may be subject to change at a future time.
All employees must reside in Oregon or Washington; the county cannot support ongoing telework from other locations.
We are unable to sponsor work visas, including H-1B, F-1 OPT, or STEM OPT.
Serving the Public, Even During Disasters Everyday, Multnomah County staff work together to serve as a safety net for our communities. During a disaster, this safety net becomes even more critical. All County employees have a role in serving the public during inclement weather, natural disaster, or other types of community emergency response. During these emergency responses, while typically there begins with a call for volunteers, county employees may ultimately be reassigned from their current position to a role in the emergency response in order to support the critical needs presented by our communities.
