Join CTG and help drive enterprise technology initiatives for a leading financial services organization. We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst V to lead complex projects that bridge business and technology, ensuring successful delivery of enterprise application enhancements, regulatory initiatives, and system integrations. This role is ideal for a senior business analyst with strong stakeholder management, requirements gathering, testing, and financial services experience.

 

Location: Buffalo, NY
Duration: 6 months

What You'll Do

  • Lead complex business systems projects from requirements gathering through implementation and post-production support.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications, test plans, test cases, and oversee system testing activities.
  • Serve as the functional lead for enterprise-wide initiatives, coordinating across business, technology, and vendor teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, manage project documentation, and ensure milestones are achieved.
  • Support data mapping, system integrations, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and resolve issues through implementation.
  • Mentor junior Business Systems Analysts and provide subject matter expertise on supported applications.
  • Identify project risks and ensure compliance with corporate governance and regulatory standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of business analysis, operational analysis, or related experience.
  • Proven experience leading large, cross-functional business systems projects.
  • Strong expertise in requirements gathering, business process analysis, functional specifications, and software testing.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working within financial services or banking environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Experience with enterprise application integrations and system conversions.
  • Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory environments.
  • Experience with Calypso Trading Platform, Collateral Management, Fixed Income, or Capital Markets.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
